My love for photography began with an introductory course I was required to take for my major. Soon I was learning what "f-stop" and "shutter speed" meant, the importance of taking photographs in manual mode, and just how much creativity you were exposed to as you hid behind your lens.
I began by taking photographs of my brother, who was a senior at the time. As people began to see my work I continually got more requests for senior portraits and families. It wasn't until a high school friend of mine was getting married that I thought I might take a shot at engagement photography as well.
In October of 2012, I established a name for myself, creating an "official" photography page, called Flourishing Photography.
